2nd workshop

JST Japan-Thailand 2st Workshop

Date: 25-26 November 2010

Location: Hotel Chateau de Khao Yai, Khao Yai, Thailand,


The workshop was held in Khao Yai, Thailand. Eleven participants from Thailand and fourteen participants from Japan were joining the workshop from day one. The first day start at 09.00, the main activities of the first day is the progress presentation of each group and its future plan, in the end of the session the discussion question and answer. In the afternoon all the participants visited the pump hydro power and 2×1.25 MW wind turbine in Khao Yai Tieng hilltop.

The second day of the workshop start at 08.30, begin with the presentation from Asst. Prof. Suneerat explaining the next 2011 SEE conference in Thailand, followed by Thailand remarks from Prof. Bundit Fungtamassan. The session starts at around 09.00 with the opening discussion by energy scenario on the scenario framework and possible collaboration with other group for developing 2030-2050 Thailand energy scenario planning.
